Terms & Conditions

1. Overview

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of this website and the services offered through it. By booking a lesson or purchasing a lesson package, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before using the site or engaging services.

2. Services

I offer one-to-one online French lessons for English speakers, and English lessons for French speakers, delivered via Google Meet or Microsoft Teams. Lessons are tailored to your level and needs, based on an initial consultation. To ensure punctuality and smooth scheduling, all lessons will adhere strictly to the 1-hour time slot and may conclude up to five minutes early to allow for swift transition between sessions.

3. Bookings & Payments

  • All lessons must be booked in advance using the online booking system (Calendly).

  • Payments are processed securely via PayPal or Stripe.

  • You may purchase single lessons or discounted packages (e.g., 5-hour, 10-hour, or 20-hour packages).

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Lessons may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice.

  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be counted as used and not refunded or rescheduled.

  • If I need to reschedule a lesson, I will notify you as early as possible and propose an alternative.

5. Lesson Packages

  • Lesson packages (e.g., 5, 10, or 20-hour bundles) must be used within 4 months of the purchase date, and 6 months for +12h bundles.

  • Unused lessons after this period will expire and are non-refundable.

  • Lesson credits are non-transferable.

6. Refunds

  • You may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase if no lessons have yet been taken.

  • Once a lesson from a package has been used, the remainder of the package becomes non-refundable (except in exceptional cases — see refund policy).

7. Technology Requirements

  • Lessons are delivered via Google Meet or Microsoft Teams. You are responsible for having a stable internet connection, a working microphone, and web-cam if needed.

  • Missed lessons due to technical issues on your side will not be refunded, but may be rescheduled.

8. Code of Conduct

  • Please be respectful and punctual.

  • Learning a language takes effort — please be ready to engage, make mistakes, and ask questions. A positive, proactive attitude makes a big difference. All are welcome no matter their level. I suggest having a notepad at hand to take notes.

  • Lessons may not be recorded (audio or video) unless agreed upon in advance.

  • I reserve the right to discontinue lessons in cases due to abusive, inappropriate, or disruptive behavior. In such cases, remaining lessons will not be refunded.

9. Intellectual Property

All lesson materials and resources provided are for your personal educational use only. You may not share, sell, or distribute them without written permission.

10. Changes to Terms

I reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
